About Skandi Precision
Skandi Precision is a small fabrication and machining studio specializing in precision metalwork, prototyping, and functional design.
The studio provides end-to-end fabrication services — including CNC machining, laser cutting, 3D printing, and traditional milling and lathing — with an emphasis on accuracy, material integrity, and thoughtful design execution.
Each project begins with intention: to create work that serves both purpose and precision. Whether developing a prototype, producing a custom component, or refining a mechanical design, Skandi Precision bridges modern digital fabrication and heritage machining practices to achieve results that are both exact and enduring.
The name Skandi draws from Norwegian heritage — a nod to a tradition of restraint and discipline. It reflects an ideal of design that earns its beauty through clarity, balance, and function.
Precision, here, is more than tolerance or measurement; it is a mindset — an alignment between maker, machine, and material.
Each part, each process, each pass of the cutter exists to serve a single idea:
make it right, make it real, make it matter.
About Our Parent Company — Dirt Farmer Industries
Dirt Farmer Industries is where Skandi Precision began — a small fabrication studio built on the idea that you can make something useful and meaningful from what you have.
The name started as a joke and, over time, has come to mean something more: “Dirt Farmer” is about starting with what’s at hand, working from the ground up, and learning through doing.
DFI is the space for experimentation, hands-on projects, and creative problem-solving. It’s where ideas are tested, tools are used with purpose, and new techniques are explored — the part of the business where craft meets curiosity.
Skandi Precision, by contrast, takes those ideas and turns them into finished, precise components — the how behind the work.
Together, they form one continuous line: from the ground up — dirt to detail, concept to craft.
