We’ve designed precision axe-throwing target stencils, coin-holding keychains, and even Ghostbusters-inspired mod kits—always balancing function with a bit of flair. Our laser-engraved cutting boards bring a touch of fan-fun craftsmanship to any kitchen, making great gifts or statement pieces that blend artistry with everyday utility.

Our Story
I’m Sepp, the founder of Dirt Farmer Industries, LLC, a venture born in 2022 from a collision of hobbies, passions, and a deep need to create with my hands. Dirt Farmer Industries (DFI) is more than a business—it’s my lifeline, a testament to the redemptive power of purposeful work. Through 3D printing, CAD design, and laser engraving, we craft unique products and offer specialized services. You might also spot locally-farmed goods at our trade show booths because we embrace the wonderfully weird, and if you’re here, you probably do too.
DFI’s roots trace back to my battle with depression and alcohol abuse. I discovered that working with my hands—designing, building, creating—keeps my mind steady and my spirit alive. Turning that healing process into a business was the natural next step. Every project, from intricate 3D-printed designs to laser-engraved art, is a piece of that redemption, a way to channel chaos into something meaningful.
The spark for DFI came during the pandemic when I dove into 3D printing with a proton pack from Ghostbusters (1984), a childhood obsession. That project led me to Ghostbusters, Virginia, a nonprofit using fandom for good, and inspired the “Dirt Farmer” name as a nod to the franchise. Another pivotal chapter unfolded in 2021-2022 while working at a local axe-throwing venue. The community there introduced me to incredible people and bold ideas that shaped DFI. In 2022, I settled into a small farmhouse north of Roxboro, NC, and DFI took root.
When I’m not pouring myself into DFI, I’m gardening, collecting vinyl records, attending fan events, or tending to my spiritual life—though I’m usually still tinkering with some project. My partner, Rebecca, brings boundless creativity to DFI, co-designing our most imaginative products and inspiring me to keep pushing forward.
