DFI Second Shift Custom Organizer
Have a handful of small things that never seem to have a proper place?
That’s exactly what Second Shift is for.
Our Custom Organizer option lets us design a removable 3D-printed insert around the specific items you want to keep together. Camera accessories, cards, adapters, small tools, electronics, collectibles, hardware, cables, parts, or something we haven’t thought of yet — if it fits inside one of our cases, there’s a good chance we can organize it.
How It Works
Send us:
The exact dimensions of each item you want to store
The quantity of each item
Photos of the items whenever possible
Any preferences you have for how you’d like them arranged
We’ll use that information to determine which Second Shift case works best and whether everything can be arranged into a practical layout.
Available Case Sizes
Mini — 5.875" × 3.125" × 5/8"
Standard — 6.125" × 4.375" × 5/8"
Maxi — 7.25" × 5.25" × 5/8"
These are exterior case dimensions, so usable interior space will be slightly smaller.
Made for Your Stuff
Each custom insert is designed specifically around the dimensions you provide and 3D printed in your selected available color.
The insert is removable, so the included case can always be repurposed again later.
Because every request is different, some combinations of items may not physically fit or may require a different case size or layout than originally requested. We’ll confirm feasibility before moving forward with the final design.
Upcycled by Design
Every Second Shift organizer includes a case that has already served another purpose in our shop.
We remove the original labels, clean and inspect each case, and select the best candidates available for reuse. Because these are genuinely upcycled containers, minor cosmetic variation is normal.
Cases may have light scratches or hazing, slight warping, small cosmetic-only cracks, minor sticker residue, or variations in latch tightness. Most latch and hold well, but they are not new, sealed, or impact-rated containers.
The newly manufactured component is the custom 3D-printed organizer insert. The case gets to come along for its Second Shift.
